Concert for Classrooms is a tribute to Peter Burgener, a Champion
Peter was one of Calgary's most influential architects, a community activist, philanthropist and avid country music fan. Concert for Classrooms is a fun-filled and community-based evening featuring some of Canada's finest roots and country musicians. This one-of-a-kind event has raised nearly $1 million to support Classroom Champions' work with classrooms across Alberta and Western Canada.

For over a decade, Classroom Champions has brought over 300 Olympic, Paralympic, NCAA and professional athletes to classrooms, schools and districts to facilitate a powerful, engaging and effective Social and Emotional Learning curriculum. Athletes bring their journey and mindsets to an 8-unit curriculum that teachers can use in a flexible way.
