Why Support Champion Chats?
Everyone needs a champion in their corner, someone to cheer them on, pick them up when they stumble, and inspire them to dream big. Sponsoring Champion Chats allows Classroom Champions to connect more of our best athletes to more of our kids in low-income, rural, and Indigenous communities across Canada.
What Does Your Support Do?
- Provide an athlete mentor role model to kids in underserved classrooms across Western Canada.
- Students receive personalized monthly video lessons on topics like resilience, persistence, goal-setting, dealing with adversity, and healthy living, and have live chats with their athlete mentor.
- Teachers receive Classroom Champions community support, enriched curriculum, and professional development.
- Enable the continued development of world-class Classroom Champions curriculum and lesson plans.
- Ensure that every child has a champion by expanding our reach to schools and students that need it most.
