Abby Roque
Abby Roque is a professional hockey forward for the PWHL's Montreal Victoire, a Walter Cup Champion, a World Champion, and an Olympic Silver Medalist with Team USA. An Ojibwe athlete from the Wahnapitae First Nation, she previously won an NCAA national title with Wisconsin. Growing up in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan, Abby played on boys' hockey teams until college. Competing in those environments built her physical strength, sharp instincts, and absolute confidence on the ice. Abby brings a strong message of identity and confidence to the classroom. She shows students how owning who you are and embracing your background builds inner strength on any stage.
