Anita Alvarez
Anita Alvarez is a three-time Olympian and 2024 Olympic Silver Medalist in artistic swimming. A 13-time National Team member and five-time USA Artistic Swimmer of the Year, she is working to become the first American artistic swimmer to compete in four Olympic Games. Her athletic path began at age five in Buffalo, New York, before she moved to California at 16 to train full-time. Over a decade at the international level, she has collected six World Championship appearances and four Pan American medals through sheer consistency. Anita shows students what long-term commitment looks like in action. She teaches kids how to set ambitious long-range goals and stay focused on them year after year.
