Bryan Sosoo is a 2026 Olympian in bobsled and a push athlete on the U.S. national team, competing at the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Games. A Laurel, Maryland native, he built his athletic foundation in track and field, becoming the Maryland state champion in the 55-meter and triple jump before setting the school record and winning three conference titles in the 60-meter dash at Monmouth University. After college, Bryan kept his sprinting career going internationally, competing for Ghana through 2024. That same year, he made the leap into bobsled, joining the U.S. national team and quickly climbing the ranks, making his IBSF World Cup debut before earning a spot on his first Olympic team just two years into the sport. Bryan shows young athletes that a late start doesn't mean a limited ceiling. He shares how the speed and power built on the track can transfer to a brand new sport, and how staying open to reinvention can turn one Olympic dream into another.
