Michelle Plouffe

Michelle Plouffe is an Olympic 3x3 basketball player from Edmonton, AB. She was cut from multiple teams before becoming a Team Canada member, but she enjoys the challenge of not being good at something right away and then improving with hard work. Michelle played overseas for 8 years, located largely in France. She has competed in 3 Olympic Games and has had a decade of National Team experience. Michelle received a full-ride scholarship to the University of Utah, where she holds the all-time school record in rebounds and is 2nd all-time in scoring. Following her senior year, she was picked 19th overall in the 2014 WNBA draft by the Seattle Storm. Michelle is very close to her parents and sisters, and is an aunt to her nephew Elijah and her niece Gabriella.
