Zachary Miller

Diagnosed with Left Hemiplegic Cerebral Palsy at just six months old at Children’s Hospital in Denver, Zachary Miller became a regular patient there—and it was through the hospital’s sports program that he discovered snowboarding. From the moment he hit the slopes, he was hooked on the thrill of speed. A few years later, he learned about a new snowboarding discipline being added to the Paralympic Games—and what the Paralympics were—and set his sights on becoming part of it.With determination and focus, he trained year after year, utilizing development teams to access the coaching and resources needed to chase his dream. That hard work paid off. Today, Zachary is a Paralympian, a two-time World Champion, an ESPY Award winner, and has earned over 20 World Cup podiums. Now entering his ninth season on the U.S. Paralympic Snowboard Team, he continues to push the limits of what’s possible on the snow.
