Emily Regan

Emily Regan is an Olympic gold medalist, having won the Women’s 8 for rowing at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Emily is also a three-time World Champion. Born in Buffalo, New York, Emily began rowing in 2006 during her freshman year at Michigan State University. She signed up at a booth during freshman orientation and soon won back-to-back Big Ten Team Championship titles in 2008 and 2009, and three consecutive event wins in the Varsity 8. After finishing college in 2010, she began rowing at the national training center in Princeton, New Jersey. She has been training with the National Team since January 2011, and has been a member of seven National Teams and the 2016 Olympic team.
