Hallie Clarke

Hallie Clarke is an amazing skeleton athlete who loves going really fast on the ice—head first! She is one of the best in the world at her sport and has already made history. Hallie is the youngest athlete ever to win a Senior World Championship, which she did in 2024. She also won the Junior World Championship in 2025, making her the first athlete to hold both titles at the same time!Hallie started competing internationally when she was just 17 years old. Even then, she showed how talented she was by earning medals and finishing near the top against much older athletes. She quickly became one of the strongest young competitors in skeleton.Hallie grew up in both the United States and Canada and now proudly competes for Team Canada, wearing the maple leaf on her back. One big reason she chose to compete for Canada was her coach, Joe Cecchini, who has supported her since she first tried skeleton at just 14 years old. Before skeleton, Hallie played many sports and loved staying active. Athletic talent runs in her family—her mom was a figure skater, and her dad played hockey at a very high level.Hallie graduated from Bowness High School and is now studying Health Science online at Queen’s University. When she’s not racing, Hallie enjoys being outside and making music. She plays several instruments, but her favorite is the ukulele, which helps her relax and have fun.Hallie’s story shows that with hard work, great mentors, and believing in yourself, amazing things can happen!
