Laurianne Desmarais-Gilbert

Laurianne Desmarais-Gilbert began mogul skiing on a small hill in Quebec alongside their sister, and the two instantly fell in love with the sport. After several years training in local clubs, they earned a spot on the Quebec team at age 16. Following four seasons of steady development, they were selected to join the national team.Considered a “late bloomer” in the sport, Laurianne Desmarais-Gilbert hit each career milestone a bit later than the typical athlete—but that’s exactly what makes their achievements so meaningful. Their journey is a testament to perseverance, patience, and a deep love for the sport of mogul skiing.
