Michelle Plouffe

Michelle Plouffe is a 2x Olympian for the Canadian national basketball team, competing in 2012 and 2016. In 2019, Michelle and her sister formed Canada’s first 3x3 women’s basketball team and has competed in the Women’s Series circuit for the last three years. Michelle played for eight years overseas in Athens, Greece and Lyon, France. She played seven years in France – the last three seasons being a member of NBA HOF'er Tony Parker’s team in Lyon. Michelle received a full-ride scholarship to the University of Utah, where she competed in the PAC 12 conference. She holds the all-time school record in rebounds, and 2nd all-time in scoring. Following her senior year, she was picked 19th overall in the 2014 WNBA draft by the Seattle Storm. She is currently preparing with her 3X3 team for the 2024 Paris Olympics. Michelle currently lives in Edmonton, very close to her parents and sisters, and is an aunty to her nephew Elijah (10yo) and her niece Gabriella (9yo).
