Brigette Laquette

From her hometown in Mallard, Manitoba, Brigette is the first Cote First Nation ice hockey player to be named to the Canadian women’s hockey team. Through hard work and determination, Brigette has overcome adversity to be a two-time silver medalist with Team Canada and a gold medalist in the U18 World Cup in 2010. She also won a silver medal with Team Canada at the 2018 Olympic Winter Games. Brigette is also a proud graduate of the University of Minnesota-Duluth with a Bachelors of Arts.
